Maryland Rapper Gets Chance of a Lifetime with #Freestyle50 Challenge

In September 2016, Tre ‘Da Kid, a 29 year old up and coming rapper from Annapolis, Maryland, experienced the harrowing loss of his mother. By December, his life rapidly shifted to a new path when he won Verizon’s #Freestyle50 Challenge, a contest held in partnership with 300 Entertainment to find the nation’s next great freestyler.
